ECHO PARK -- Los Angeles City Councilmember Mitch O'Farrell helped unveil the marker for Los Angeles Historic Cultural Monument No. 256, in the neighborhood formerly known as Edendale.

The location off Glendale Blvd in Echo Park was the original Mack Sennett stages. Hollywood Heritage saved and restored the plaque when its original home was being demolished in 2007.

During the dedication, O'Farrell expressed his appreciation to those who preserved this piece of LA history, and film buffs who continue to keep the magic in ‎Hollywood.

The marker is located at Public Storage, 1712 Glendale Blvd., between Effie St. & Aaron St.
