Heatwaves can be dangerous to your health if certain precautions are not taken, which is why I want to share some information to help protect you and your loved ones at this time.
According to the Emergency Management Department, City facilities will be utilized as cooling centers to provide the public with relief from the heat. During periods of high temperatures, the City may extend the hours of facilities beyond regular business hours.
City facilities are physically accessible, and upon request, will provide auxiliary aids and services for program access and effective communication. Please refer to the following contact Information for assistance with identifying and location a City facility.
